In 1997, a group of former senior executives and partners from Arthur D. Little (ADL) set out to create a consulting firm that would surpass competitors' abilities to respond to and serve clients' needs for value enhancement. Prior to founding the Applied Value Group, Mr. Grant was Senior Vice President and
Managing Director of North America Management Consulting at Arthur D. Little as
well as Chairman of the Worldwide Strategy Practice. He is Chairman of Human Care
(Healthcare equipment company listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange), former Chairman
of Tele2 (the leading alternative pan-European telecommunications company with 5
billion USD in revenues) as well as a former Board Director of Kinnevik (holding
company), Korsnäs (specialty paper and board business, Metro International (the
world's largest free daily newspaper) and Transcom (a leading European call center
company). Mr. Grant is an expert in Strategy & Organization, Mergers & Acquisitions,
Cost & Capital Efficiency and Sourcing & Procurement.
